Exciting epic of a book. I really enjoyed the characters and their development, especially the main character. There was, however, a lot of detailed fighting scenes. That's fine but they went on a bit long for me. It's a great world and I can't wait to get back into it.

4.5/5 Read it in one go because it sucked me right in. Honestly enjoyed every aspect of the book from the character building to the world building and plot.
This book is absolutely phenomenal. Definitely going to be in my top 5 for the year.

I’ll start off with the cons:
First off it took me way too long to finish it- it’s not because it was boring or slow- this was literally one of the most fast paced books I’ve ever read. I just literally had zero motivation to read this book and I don’t know why. Like I enjoyed it- but I just never really wanted to pick it up until the last quarter or so when it got intense.
What was necessary about that random spicy scene in the middle of this book

Wow, that was amazing! My new favorite Fantasy book, and in my top 5 of all time. Incredible!

Incredible high fantasy novel. The setting was unique but loved the familiarity of a coming of age meets revenge and revolution trope. Can’t wait to read book 2!
