A thrilling read for readers of all ages. The storytelling is vivid and immersive and I love the characters and the intense bonds they form. A true comfort read, even though fans of the film will know what tragedy awaits.

I enjoyed this book, and the nostalgia that it brought for me of the movie. I grew up adoring The Dark Crystal and still adoring it. Its kind of a bittersweet thing reading the prequels being that once you see the movie, you know the outcome. It is still fun though. I will be continuing this series.
This book sounded super cool because I loved the movie and always wondered more about the world. Unfortunately I wasn’t a huge fan. The writing is good and the plot is good, but for some reason I wasn’t drawn in. I think this book is good and can be enjoyed by many, but for some reason I just didn’t. It didn’t click with me. I think I expected too much for a short book. It felt similar to the movie, but I feel like we didn’t add a ton more to the world. Then again, it is going to be a series so perhaps more will come.

I grew up with The Dark Crystal. I was obsessed with it then, and I am obsessed with it now. I cannot wait to read more. Hopefully, the series will give us some clues for season two.
I don't remember watching The Dark Crystal as a kid but at the back of my head, it sounds and looks so familiar.
I have a feeling I definitely have seen it before but can't for the life of me remember it.

I am definitely in need of an illustrations of graphic novel of this series, it will be beautiful jut as the story was.
The build up of the story was so good. It just takes me back of being a kid. Although I don't remember the series, I feel a sense of familiarity.
