The two stars are for the book as an autobiography
Do not ask me about how many this chef gets
You will not like my five hour long furious ted talk

I wish the writing was more linear. He time jumped a bit and frustrated me when I had to go a few pages back to remember just where we were in his story. However. I love Ramsay. So still enjoyed this tiny clip in how he became what he is today
Love it when I pick up a book and it turns out to be a better read than expected.
Didn't realise what a crappy childhood Mr Ramsay had until I read this book, and where as before I quite liked him, now I admire the man. He certainly put the effort in to get to where he is, and no doubt it was hard work, not luck that has brought him well deserved success.
Great read if you are a fan of the man or just read it, like I did, because you've seen his foul mouthed, ranting like a enraged bull act on one of his numerous shows he's been on.

I love Gordon Ramsay so I was totally excited when I saw an autobiography on kindle for only $3. What I didn't realize when I bought it is that this is part of a series called "Quick Reads" that are made to be super fast to encourage people who either don't normally read or haven't read in awhile to have something quick and easy to get through.
This was definitely that. It was super short, easy to read in a couple of hours. It is also clearly Gordon Ramsay writing it. Clearly he is a chef and NOT a writer but it is okay because it is an autobiography and so the fact that it is so simply told works. You almost feel like you are just listening to him tell you a really brief synopsis of his life, swear words and all.
I enjoyed this. It wasn't anything amazing but it served its purpose and entertained me while giving me a good overview of a man that I was curious about.

Gordon Ramsay is my favorite chef and this was such a cool insight into his past and how he got to be the mega success that he is today.
So fun and his voice is just as strong in text as it is in audio!

I read a 60-page highly abridged version of this book and found it to be an interesting insight into the famous chef's beginnings, how he moved up the career ladder and found himself to be a celebrity. His voice is so unique that I could practically hear him reciting the book to me as I read it.
Apparently this is part of the Quick Reads line of books. Felt like the cliff notes of a full autobiography. I think I learned enough though.
Interesting insight into this hard working man. Can definitely see where he is coming from now, and it only makes me like him more. He deserves everything he has.
