I very clearly remember the paint plot with chets jalopy from my youth. I'm not sure why. The book was fun, and it's interesting that I solved the mystery before them. That's not really possible in Nancy drew.

3.5/5 for nostalgia. As a recently ex-teacher, I am glad that the quality of intermediate literature has expanded exponentially. A fun adventure and mystery still…excellent wish-fulfillment for you certainly me.
