I've just finished two books in a row where the author died before finishing the book. I was so hooked, so it was hard to leave things hanging, although the publishers did an excellent job of tying up loose ends in the story, and in Richard Wagamese's story. He was a brilliant author and I found all his novels compelling and rich, this one included.
