DNF at some point? I think I wasn’t really interested in the love interest nor the plot. Can’t remember anything except that and that she’s a plant.
I will never stop obsessing over this book.
I am not being dramatic when I say that this book completely changed me, maybe not literally but you know what i mean. I am never too interested in romance novels but this series shook me. I talk about it to all my friends and family but you'll just never get what I mean until you read it.
This book inst just any faerie book, it was so much ore to me. The love triangle was quite intense at times but that just made the whole plot that much more interesting to me. (let's be honest, we all were rooting for Tamani at some point).
The concept of the faeries actually being plants was somewhat hard to grasp but i found it interesting and a new take. And at some point, i just got over my stupor and continued reading because it was just SO DAMN GOOD.

I scrolled through the comments and it makes no sense to me! This book was AWESOME!
I loved this book! It was a quick read and if I wanted I would have sat there all day and read it but I forced myself not to unless I wanted to have blurry vision for 3 days! It was a very fast read!
I really can't say anything that will do it justice! I went into it not knowing anything about it besides it's description and I loved it! So I say if you like fairies and awesomeness read this book!

Predictable YA fiction about Laurel who was found on her adoptive parents' doorstep at the age of the three. She only eats plants, feels most comfortable outside (regardless of the weather), is movie star gorgeous, and is not really human. She finds out what she truly is, which causes an identity crisis, and in the end has to learn how to live in both worlds (hmmmmm... can she?).
Read-a-likes: The Faerie Path series by Frewin Jones and had similar writing style to Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments trilogy.

I like where this story is going, but I definitely need more from the next books! More of a review to come!
The kissing scene, with David, seemed very real to me.
