I learned a lot from this book. Things I never knew about the efforts and history before the war. Samuel Adams should have a head seat at the history table. I gave it 4 stars because the book was hard to read. It didn’t flow from one sentence to the next. The information was interesting, the writing was not as good.

Very well written and researched book. The author places Adams in the context of other activities happening during the time leading up to the Revolutionary War.
