I don't agree with all of her positions (as is the case with most politicians), but was very interesting to read the reasoning and thought processes behind her ideas and positions.

I've been meaning to read this memoir since I heard about in in the mist of the latest election. Kamala Harris is one of the most interesting and promising politicians I've seen in USA politics in recent years and the book was definitely one of the better I've read. It's both very readable and very interesting. Curious on how her career will develop in the upcoming years

I loved learning more about our new Vice President although it read a bit like a presidential platform. Wish it went even deeper into her life and not just her beliefs. Still, she’s an inspiring woman and her relationship with her mom was so touching.

It read a bit like a platform statement, but she is obviously an intelligent individual who thrives on data and making data-driven decisions.

I requested this book from the library shortly after Senator Harris announces her bid for president. The book reads like a primer to her policy positions (definitely helpful!). The autobiographical pieces were background, and I definitely wanted more on that front.

I really enjoyed Kamala's book. I've been a fan of her's since she burst onto the national scene in 2016 as the California Senator. I've been incredibly impressed with her positions and interactions as a senator and am hopeful for her chances in the democratic primaries. I think her book which is a well written albeit safe pre-campaign book was a solid real. Interesting stories and upbringing with a diverse background made for a good read.

The only reason that I picked this up was because of a work book club. I can't say I was impressed. I am very much a fan of Kamala Harris. I think she is smart and tough but this was very much a nine hour campaign ad rehashing her greatest hits. It's strange that she can seem so personable and authentic in some of her interviews and yet this memoir comes across as the brainchild of a PR campaign.

I’ve read this book twice now: the first time while she was running for president, and the second time, the week that she was inaugurated as Madame Vice President. Her campaign slogan was Kamala Harris: For the People. And this book shows her motivations are genuinely For the People while it outlines her impressive career from SF DA to CA attorney general to CA Senator and all the work she has done for her constituents

What a great read (listen!). While Kamala Harris was someone I knew little to nothing about, I’m impressed with what she has achieved in her political life and tenure. She truly is an awesome writer, and let’s see how she does this next four years...
