If Evelyn had only died 3 1/2 times, this book would've been really good. As it stands, it was far too long. It was slow, repetitive and the last 50% just wasn't very interesting.
The part that was good was Quantum Leap meets Groundhog's Day, written by Agatha Christie.

Interesting and engaging but kind of doing too much. I liked the twist, I didn’t see it coming but the end was still kind of confusing and the resolution wasn’t my fave. Still worth a read for the creepy murder mystery Black Mirror vibes

Maybe it would be better if I had read it instead of listening to the audiobook. But I didn’t care by the end. Just wanted it to be done.
5/5 Such a unique book that really captivated my interest from the beginning because of the premise. Insanely smart and thrilling. Like a Sherlock Holmes/Agatha Christie story for a more modern age.

10/10: Loved the breadth of characters and original murder mystery/body swapping combination—and with a twist at the end that I’m still trying to wrap my head around? Excellent read.
Just "okay". I love a good mystery, especially an Agatha Christie mystery, and apparently author Stuart Turton based his writing upon her style. However, this novel is nowhere near Christie's style, as Turton's characters are confusing and mostly one-dimensional. The time-travel aspect of the novel muddled the fluency of the novel, and it became a labour to finish reading.
