Well, it was certainly original. But the story was extremely convoluted and its complexities could be hard to follow. And — as a Christian — I have to say the premise was ridiculous. His writing certainly carries you along, though.

I really liked this one. There were some parts I did not love (lots of fat shaming) but overall it was a really enthralling read. The ending was a little disjointed from the rest of the novel, in my opinion, but it was still interesting enough.
