I loved all the short stories. I really loved the recipes and had to write some down so I can make them and not have to open the book to find the right one. This one made me hungry that’s for sure.

While I loved seeing where the characters that first introduced me to the wonderful words of Carrie Ann Ryan, for me these snippets needed a bit more depth - maybe I'm just being greedy and wanted longer storyline, lol.

The recipes at the end of each short story matched the characters and story perfectly and there are a few that I want to try out.
But not being based in America there are some recipes that I won't be able to make unless I can work out what some of the ingredients are and if I can find substitutes for.

Fun short updates on many of the couples from the Montgomery (and extended family) Ink books! Plus some tasty recipes? A winning combination! Hard to decide which recipe to try first…

This book made me hungry the whole time. This was a great fun read, amazing recipes and change of pace. Get more of the original Montgomery’s and great new recipes, what else can you ask for. The stories were all just the right amount of Montgomery I needed.

This is such an interesting concept - which I think worked really well... an update on the Montgomery Ink series, with 8 brand new short stories AND a cookbook - each story has a number of recipes referenced or linked to the short story you have just read.

You don't need to have read all of the original Montgomery Ink Books, but I prefer to get my updates in order so was pleased that I had all the relevant backstories already. Each chapter is a different story about a couple from the original series and we get a glimpse into what their life is like now.

I can't wait to try some of these recipes... luckily I love cheese too!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Although I haven't read all of the Montgomery Ink books, I still loved how we get glimpses into different couples and for the ones that were new to me, I now want to jump in and and read those books! Then we have all the recipes- I was so excited to try some of these and we picked several from different sections. They were super easy to follow and everything we tried was a success - deviled eggs, enchiladas and a pasta salad. This is definitely a cookbook I'll be going to back to again and again for different things to try.

The Montgomery family always have lots of family meals and this book not only lets us catch up with some of our favourite family members but also gives us the recipes for the meals they enjoy. It is great to see how the couples (and throuple) and families have grown. I love that family always come first for the Montgomerys and they will drop everything to help their family. the recipes are well written and look delicious.

I absolutely loved the bites from each couple we got in this book. I can't discuss the recipes because I haven't tried them yet, but I definitely am going to. They sound fantastic and seem pretty easy to make. This book is great for both the recipes and the stories.
