I was so bored.  It was basically - sex scene, inch the plot along, sex scene then inch it along.  It had no pace to it what so ever.

3.7 rounded up. This was a slow build and it was worth it. I don?t think I want to go on with the series, I am plenty satisfied with where they ended up. I loved the humanness but also the otherworldly strength of Carol. Really paints a picture of Thor and Odin; pretty horrible.

A genuine surprise of me liking this book! The Norse mythology and time spent with adding accurate details to this was just as good as capturing how alluring and dickish Loki should be. Will continue this series.

I really enjoyed this book because I felt like the main character was real in that she wasn't a helpless, virginal, wide eyed little girl that seems to be the norm in so many books these days. It is a little cliche in spots, but they are tried and true cliches so why not run with them? The books is well written, and is just fun. Like a grown up fairy tale.

SpoilerMy only real problem with it, and it almost cause me to take off a star was how Odin and Thor spoke to her. The whore part, ok, I kinda get it, but cussing was out of place. At least to me. And the trial was mortifying and honestly it's hard to feel bad about any of them being dead now *lol*

This book actually surprised me although the story is slow, had I finished it I probably would have rated it at least 4 stars.

BUT I didn't know it was a love triangle and the fmc had on page sex with the other guy after being in love with main MMC.

I think she falls in love with the other guy.
And sadly I can't read that:(

Would still recommend it for the story.
