for some reason when i read the first two books in this series last year, this one didn’t catch my attention like those so i didn’t read it. now im wondering if i was suffering extensive brain damage at the time. jagger cole is definitely my favorite dark romance mafia author. i didn’t think i could love a drakos brother like i loved ares but hades is really coming for the crown here.

This dark romance book kept my attention from beginning to end! It was full of suspense, spice, and plenty of bittersweet moments. I loved seeing the relationship between Elsa and Hades develop and every one of their scenes delivered! The family aspect and relationships in this book were such a sweet touch and I loved how they were all so protective over each other.

The banter between Elsa and Hades before they officially got together was written so great and I loved their chemistry. Hades being the big and bad, scary morally grey man but not hesitating to have Elsa and her little sister move in with him is swoonworthy! Running from the past never works and Elsa is met with that reality when her demons surface. Doing all she can to take her future into her own hands and keep her sister safe is Elsa’s only goal. Thankfully the man she has in her life is powerful and feared

Giving a 4 stars because the ending was a bit rushed. They also seem to be the most normal or the least dark couple out of everyone in the series so far which I liked
