Es el mejor libro de toda la saga...también es el más largo. Y a pesar de sus 1070 páginas no me aburrí ni se me hizo lento en ningún momento. Es más, es el primero que me pone los pelos de punta y que no me causa mucha gracia leerlo de noche.
A su vez, siento que es el primero de la saga que no cae en ciertos tópicos que nos venía presentando JK. Para empezar Robin ya no es más la damisela en apuros a la que lastiman sobre el final y eso lo agradezco un montón.
Me encantó la cantidad de temas personales que descubre este libro, Strike con la familia, Robin con la suya, el crecimiento de ambos personajes es fenomenal. Y el desarrollo de su amistad también, realmente se pueden ver esas barreras caer, solo le pido a JK que me cumpla el caprichito de que terminen juntos.
Por último, los paratextos. Soy una fanática de ellos, me gustan mucho cuando se utilizan en las historias y creo que acá se utilizaron muy bien, pero la elección de la tipografía fue errada. Me costó mucho leer los que implicaban páginas enteras del diario de Talbot porque simplemente no los entendía, la letra que se eligió es complicada y si vengo a un ritmo de lectura normal y de repente estoy 10 mins para leer una página tenemos un problema. Esta es mi única queja.
PD: no se dejen engañar por el título.

The best dynamic from our fav duo!
The case itself really was intriguing. I like the idea to solve a cold dead long forgotten cased. With this case we were shown how passionate, determined, dedicated and committed Cormoran and Robin were.
I also love the character development. Even some small characters like Pat, the new agency's secretary, got a deep sense of it. Also some occurring characters like Shanker, Barkley (oh, I looove Barkley so much!), Lucy, Charlotte, Matthew (ewh), also Nick and Ilsa were dug deeper here. But the good thing is, we don't get dragged too long. We can easily learn more about these characters by reading their conversation.
Talking about dragging, with 900+ pages, somehow I don't feel bored reading this. Sometimes there are some parts that they all focused on other cases, but still, it's engaging somehow. I think it's because the dynamic from Cormoran and Robin is getting more and more interesting. I keep giggling reading them, like reading a teen lit. Some experiences that you seldom got from a detective stories, right?

I swear, each book just gets better and better! I just polished this thick boy off in 10 days. I literally could not put it down. HOW DOES SHE DO IT?!?!

A little long, but the end really upped it a star. I didn't see the conclusion at all. I love the story of Robin and Strike, how they solve the crimes. Well done!
