My favorite niche book genre is a 1950s historical romance involving movie stars. This book is amazing. I loved all the the different narratives and the film within the book. It is very different from the Silvia books I am used to but still has her writing flair I love. This book is fantastic and I was so happy to have won a copy from her giveaway.

This wasn’t on my radar until I saw a reviewer list it as her favorite read of 2024 and boy am I glad I picked it up. Engaging and fast-paced with amazing characters, this was such an enjoyable book.

I am not sure what it is about this book but I really enjoyed it. Old Hollywood, new stars discovered in another country, jealousy, etc. All the things. Plus, a book that has its own Spotify playlist and cocktail; makes it even better.
