STOP THIS WAS SO CUTE. i love how elizabeth’s books are short but don’t feel rushed or underdeveloped at all?? this book was about 308 pages and it felt so developed and like the characters and their love story was fleshed out perfectly. josh and drew were so precious. the trope was really well done. they had such an instant soulmate connection and became such wholesome friends and lovers. their banter was adorable. the longing for each other throughout the hawaii trip with all their sweet moments had my heart feeling all the feels. drew went through so much and i loved her character arc finally feeling worth of love and showing her self love despite getting treated like sh*t from the people who should have shown it to her. josh was such a protector and a kind soul. he loved helping people and got so protective over drew and helping her see how lovely she is just as her real and true self.

the third act breakup made me frustrated so that’s why it’s 4 stars but otherwise i really enjoyed it!

This was cute. Not as fun as Hayes and Talie’s story but it was cute. I definitely have a little soft spot in my heart for Josh and how protective he was of Lina. More over, I love when a man falls first and falls hard.

What i didn’t like was how much it made me sob though. Which was a lot. Though this seems like that’s par for the course with me and this author. Not sure how much tears I have and my eyes hurt.

that was one of the best romances i’ve read in a long time
such a good slowburn and character development

Story 5⭐️

One of my favorites of the year. I loved Drew and Josh so much, their chemistry was amazing! I loved how we see how their friendship turned into more, also the found family dynamic was on point.

I loved everything about this book, even the third act conflict was completely understandable and fitting to the story. I don’t want to spoil anything because it was truly amazing, but this book both made me laugh and cry.

Absolutely recommend and can’t wait to continue the series.
