5★ again

I felt like this was important to read in this time. Some of the dystopia was a little similar to Brave New World. I found the decreasing attention spans as a cause of the world to be pretty fascinating, Bradbury predicted the tiktok/shorts timeframe in 1953, a time in which probably only 50% or so of American households even owned a TV.

Anyway, I found the prose and cadence a little hard to read, almost too fast, maybe a little off putting but at < 300 pages it was no big deal.

Read this book like a short story and you'll enjoy it, not one to be picked apart, a fascinating collection of ideas, a great book club read.

An amazing piece of fiction that holds a special place in my heart. Reading and literacy are such important things to me, and I think anyone who loves to read should read this book.
