I do love a good Groundhog Day book! (I can’t believe I finished and liked a Reese club pick!)
if you’ve read other “ground hog day” books you may have the sense “I’ve read one so I’ve read them all” but this character and the story is heartwarming enough you don’t mind the feeling of familiarity
Audio on hoopla.

Short Synopsis:
Emma is busy. She’s a mom of two. She works in publishing with demanding clients. She volunteers. But hardly has time to stop and appreciate the small things. Then one night her husband dies. And she wakes up to relive his last day over and over and over again.
My Thoughts:
I was expecting a lot of sadness from this book. What I wasn’t expecting was to be chuckling throughout. It’s surprisingly funny! I’ve read a couple books with the Groundhog’s Day theme now, and I just love thinking about all the little ways you’d change your day if given a second (or twentieth) chance. Emma loses it and becomes unhinged, and I feel like we all would.
