I almost DNF'd after the first part made me cry more than the beginning of UP... I've never read a story and so badly wished that the characters could get a do-over. Good news!

The rest of the book was moving and went in a bit of a different direction than I was expecting. I liked reading Dan's letters through the years interwoven with Emma's days. I wasn't super happy with the ambiguous ending.

A phenomenal read one of my favourite books already this year!
Although I've read a few "Groundhog Day/Sliding Doors"-esque books, this is definitely different and set up in a way that makes you emotionally attached and questioning everything about your own life and priorities. It is heartfelt and heartbreaking,with so many layers interwoven examining the pressures women especially are under and the things that steal our time and attention away from what really matters! Brilliantly done and a book I'm going to be telling everyone to read.

Seems like a similar story I have read before or watched before but it was a refreshing take on life and the overall message to slow down and to celebrate the things that matter most in this life.
