okay i can’t be the only one put off by the way women are downgraded in this book? each page there’s something derogatory about a women. comparing other women to zoe because she’s not perfect enough, then switch to criticizing other women to put zoe on a pedestal ? too fat, too clingy, faking, fake, too thin, talking too much, texting too much, all falling over their feet for the asshole mc ? it’s one of those « you’re so different from all the other girls

I had read the book in the past. I enjoyed it a lot. I laughed so much. The Bradford family is amazing and funny. I think I even laughed more listening to the audiobook. I even snorted on more than one occasion.

I liked the story, but I lost interest near the end and stopped reading for a few months at least. I literally only had 3 chapters left, but I got bored. The story is not boring, I just got bored. Today, I finally was like, “lemme finish this right quick”, so I did, and it’s a good little story. It’s gonna be 3.5 stars for me. Maybe it would’ve been 4 if it hadn’t lost me near the end, but it did, so I’m sticking with 3.5. I’ll always appreciate a little chubby girl lovin’.

Book 2 in the series. Thankfully the lead male is a Bradford so that humor is there. I understand the "opposites attract" formula but Trevor's obsession with how his "type" is thin and Zoe's diet obsessed wears a little thin. I know the point is that he is blind and stupid, but I was getting slightly irritated at the constant mentioning of Zoe's weight. Maybe the point was to break the stigma of curvy women but if so, it missed the mark.

In the end, I made it through and they're a likable couple. Took some time to get there though.

I took some time to reconsider my eating of three stars. I decided to change it to four stars after getting over my annoyance over the the phrase "Worrying her bottom lip",being used MULTIPLE times.

Any who...I really enjoyed the story. The chemistry between the main characters was enjoyable.
