Wow. I thought the ending was going a completely different direction. I feel like I still have so many questions and need another 3 chapters to explain everything. Definitely reading the sequel. This a stellar high school gone wrong thriller!

Felt very meh to me. If you really wanna know my opinion watch Booksandlalas 2018 spookathon vlog or her three thriller video reviewing this book because she explained my exact feelings :)

This is probably one of the best books I've read in a while. A little slow at times but kept a good sense of suspense throughout the book. I did NOT expect twists at the end. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it. I wasn't a fan of the author's book, The Darkest Corners, BUT she knocked this one out of the park!

I absolutely flew through this one, very well written and gripping straight from the beginning.
And even though it is technically YA, the subjects it touches on are very heavy and very relatable with things that teens go through every day.
This book is mainly told from Monica's POV, with the odd flashback chapter from her deceased sister Jennifer.
With multi media elements in too, which I love.
Very easy to read.
This was my first book by this author, and I will definitely be looking for more.

5/5 stars!!

Wow this was brilliant. Such an engrossing story with so many twists and turns. It really is a whodunnit situation where I feel my detective brain takes over and I’m trying to put the pieces together. I had some theories and most of them were wrong but I had an inkling about the main perp right from the beginning and I knew one of the other characters was involved somehow I just knew it.

I felt this novel dealt with serious situations well and not just for the shock value. I actually was crying at the end it was so emotionally raw. I feel like I could empathise with Monica so much at the end. It’s really difficult to do a non spoiler review but I was shocked at ending that a certain something wasn’t connected and I felt it shocked Monica as well. Brilliant book that I could literally not put down it was brilliant and I recommend to all true crime fans.
