Highly recommend this one if you love YA mysteries! I couldn’t stop listening to it. They weren’t a lot of twists but there were a couple of plot points that I did not see coming.

This was a great read for an overnight shift. I love a good whodunit in a small town. Thomas always delivers a well paced and thought out story. Always an autobuy for me

I had no idea where this book would go but I’m not mad at the result. Throughout this book I of course had my guesses but none concrete enough to really have confidence, and when we got the reveal I was honestly shocked because I didn’t expect who it was. One thing that I kept thinking about was how mirrored Monica and Jennifer’s stories were, both being depressed and not feeling happy, in a trio of friends and at odds, both around homecoming. So much mirrored each other that I was a bit nervous for Susan and Rachel. That last pov was also crazy but I can’t say I’m mad at how the perpetrator went out.

This book was a really good mystery that has sooo many layers. It was a really enjoyable read. It did take me like a million years to read but I think that was just a reading slump.

i really liked the main character and the plot points and her friend. i really enjoyed this book, i did not realize the plot twist was coming until it was there, it may have been obvious but i was so happily surprised. i hate when plot twists make an insignificant character significant because it makes me upset and think “why should i care about them?!” but this book was really well done because the older guy dynamic made me uncomfortable and upset.

AMAZING

Pretty intense and full of all the side stories you don't get in an episode of CSI ;)

Strong entry in the YA genre, with a heroine protagonist who keeps pursuing the mystery and behaves like a normal teenager, not an idiot.
