The actual solving of the mystery felt very unlikely. Monica as a character was very cool. The last twenty percent felt really rushed. I high key ship Monica and Ginny.

This YA mystery still holds up 5 years later. Kara Thomas is one of my favorite authors, she is so underrated. Each of her books is atmospheric and enthralling. I can't wait for the new book set in this same town.
