¡Por fin! ¡Por fin pude leer el libro que finaliza la saga de mi querida Lisbeth Salander!
La lectura se divide en dos situaciones: Lisbeth y su esfuerzo por destruir de una vez por todas a su hermana y la extraña muerte de un mendigo. El conflicto principal relacionado con Lisbeth comienza cuando tiene la oportunidad para poder eliminar a su hermana, pero algo en ella, le dice que no debe hacerlo, por tanto desiste.
Mientras Lisbeth comienza a dudar si es necesario asesinar a su hermana, Mikael se ve envuelto en un enigma cuando se encuentra sin vida a un mendigo que dentro de sus bolsillos tenía su número. Como buen curioso que es Mikael, comienza una travesía para entender quién era ese mendigo y por qué él lo estaba buscando.
Es así que comenzamos a conocer una tragedia que ocurrió en el Everest hace años atrás.
Lisbeth y Mikael se enfrentan a diversos sucesos y la verdad no paré de leer hasta saber cuál es el final definitivo. "Millenium" es mi saga favorita y me gustó que dentro de todo el conflicto que ha vivido la protagonista haya podido encontrar la paz.

Incredible! Bittersweet to reach the end of the series but so worth it.

This was a disappointing end to the Millenium series. We meet back up with Lisbeth Salander and Mikael Blomkvist in this final book. With Lisbeth is hot on the trail of her twin sister, her and Mikael are once again separated. When a homeless man is found murdered with nothing on him except Blomkvist’s phone number, Mikael is once again pulled into a conspiracy story; this time involving a trek to Mount Everest. Overall this plot line was altogether very weak and a little pointless and I found myself losing the thread of what was happening regularly simply through lack of interest. As with all three books written by Lagercrantz in this series this is a very watered down instalment compared with the graphic nature of Larsson’s first three books, and Salander is again barely featured, which I don’t really understand seeing as she is the title character in all six books. I was pleased to see a wrapping up of her relationship with her sister Camilla, but even that was somewhat unsatisfying. Not really a fitting end to Larsson’s legacy for me.
Sempre interessanti, le storie di Millennium, anche se questo sesto episodio mi ha appassionato meno dei precedenti. Forse per il fatto che mi sono un po' perso, dietro l'incrocio dei vari personaggi, o forse perché ci ho trovato ben pochi riferimenti alla società svedese e ai temi della violenza e discriminazione contro le donne che, mi pare, aveva dato il via a tutto il progetto delle avventure di Lisbeth e Mikael.
Entertaining and the best one out of the new books by this author.
