This is my first John Grisham book. It was very entertaining and I really liked it. I will be looking for more of his books to read.

Update: I'm not a Grisham fan, meaning I don't follow his books. This is just my second book and the first I'd read was years ago. So, keep that in mind when reading my review.

This book was fairly predictable early on. But, I enjoyed it nonetheless. It wasn't a complicated plot at all and the characters were flawed, but likeable so it was an easy read.

Not his best, but an enjoyable read, especially closing in on the end.

A light read from Grisham. Most of his novels are seriously written, this particular one shows his humorous side. With very fictional characters, he kept me thoroughly entertained. It has a feel good ending too :-)

Classic Grisham legal thriller, contrasting the various sides of the legal profession, from the tort kings to the ambulance-chasers.

Full of atmosphere, a trial or two, complicated manoeuvring and double-crossing. I liked it. Had a bit of a moral dimension to it, but that's Grisham for you.

Good book but predictable.
