challenging dark emotional mysterious tense

An interesting concept that was executed fairly well. At times it did feel like the author maybe bit off more than she could chew with the story structure, given that some parts felt half baked.

This doesn't read like the rest of Mina's work, at least to me. And this isn't so great because Mina is legendarily good in my mind. I liked the podcast material, but the rest of the narrative didn't engage me in the way her work generally does.

A somewhat complicated tale of podcasts, intrigue, infidelity, and so forth. Cleverly done; there are a few holes in the plot (the bad guys only seem to be able to find our heroes after they start to worry that the bad guys might find them, for instance), but it's unique and fun. The ending is a bit too happy-happy-joy-joy for me, but then I always complain about endings.
