3.5 stars rounded up. Interesting thriller/mystery. The pace was stop and go for me, but overall I enjoyed it. Honestly the pace issue might've been due to the fact I read it on my Kindle, read it for yourself and see what you think!
Super compelling and fresh, creative voice. Was hooked the whole time and really enjoyed the characterizations
2.5 ⭐️ I’m conflicted. Parts were good, parts were boring, parts didn’t make sense, parts were intriguing. Could have been better and characters could have been more likable.
The first half was really intriguing, but then second half felt disconnected, like I was missing some pieces. Ending was kind of anticlimactic.

There is something special about a book that gets you through the flu. It was intriguing and entertaining enough to do so and for that I am truly grateful. The main character was gritty and humorous and the story was outlandish enough to be exciting but not stressful. Just what I needed these last few days...

The start is a bit hard to swallow but once Fin turns up the novel improves. It is an entertaining, if not remotely convincing, caper.
