A good read. Not perfect but well plotted. Some atmosoheric descriptions just too long

I read this one so quickly. Thoroughly addicting. Another great pick by Reese Witherspoon.

I wanted so much more from this novel. The premise sounds like it is made for me, but I found the characters thinly developed and the plot meandered so much I barely could tell when there was any action. One of the few times a Reese’s book club pick is a total miss for me.

I read so many mystery/thriller books and this one was exceptionally fun and different. It starts with a woman listening to a true crime podcast and then going to investigate it. Recommend.

A little genre-bendy, because it's mostly a thriller, but it's also very tongue and cheek and veers into comedy and gives almost mockumentary vibes. The ending was rushed and the middle was long, but a quality read nonetheless.

I blasted through this in a day because it was so un-put-down-able. The plot stays _just_ this side of believable, and manages to play on our current love of true crime, unresolved ending podcasts, using their form to help the story along and give it the right kick of humor as you're waiting for the confrontations you know are coming. The in-universe podcast ads and the way this absolutely nailed its ending were *chef kiss*.

It was fine. Forgettable. Gretchen’s reason for going after Anna didn’t really make a lot of sense to me. 3 instead of 2 because I didn’t hate anything it was just meh.
