It was fine. Forgettable. Gretchen’s reason for going after Anna didn’t really make a lot of sense to me. 3 instead of 2 because I didn’t hate anything it was just meh.

Thrilling story that will have you on the edge of your seat and unable to put the book down. I loved this story, very uniquely written. Definitely will read more from Denise Mina!

What a romp. I enjoyed the narrator's voice and the story is a darkly funny wild ride.

This was a wild ride. What started as a mother of two being kicked out and left for a younger woman, turned into a journey across Europe to follow up on the death of an acquaintance from a past life.

At times I wasn't sure that I was even rooting for the main character, or the neighbor that decided to tag along, at other times it was choppy if we were in the podcast or the real world, but it was a book I couldn't seem to put down and finished in a weekend.

This was too far fetched for me. Too many things intended to be a shock or plot twist seemed underdeveloped and made a potentially interesting story at the beginning a jumbled mess and I just couldn’t wait for it to end.

it might be partly due to the fact that i really didn’t read this book in big chunks at a time and instead in little bits before bed but i was pretty damn confused the whole time. i had a tough time following the story, keeping up with all of the characters, and trying to put the puzzle pieces together on my own. maybe that’s my bad but maybe it’s just a book that isn’t incredibly well written?? don’t know, don’t really care to figure out
