Idek why I even bothered to finished this series. I think it was because a friend said that the
Spoilersex scene was super hot
, and tbh, I've read better #sorrynotsorry.

While earned some major fucking (and last minute) points for knocking Finn into his place, and for him to stop being a whiny little shit, she was still oh-so insta love. Whatever. tbh I would chose Tove over any of them any day

Oh, and, fuck you Finn, you entitled twat.

SO FREAKIN GOOD

Reading this the second time round, this is what I have to say:

- Maybe it's because I'm older, but the writing style is meh. It's more telling rather than showing. Nonetheless, it's still a story that I love and will probably read again. It's just one of those stories that you keep close to your heart.
- If I hear Wendy and Finn bicker over how they had no choice and yada yada yada one more time, I'm going to lose it.
- What happened to Rhys?! Why was he absent for 90% of the story?
- Tove remains my favourite character. I need a Tove in my life.
- I loved how the relationship between Wendy and Elora developed in this - it was given much more depth.
- Though I love Loki, both as a character and as a tortured soul, I'm still a bit iffy as to how he and Wendy fell in love. It still feels forced.
- The story needed some death or loss, or... something. I love all the characters, but having some of them die would have made the rest of the characters gain a little perspective, I think.

That being said, I love this story VERY VERY MUCH. It's the story that truly started me off on fantasy and I will treasure it forever <3

A great end to the series. I enjoyed it. A very easy and fun read like the other two books.

Underdeveloped. The characters, the world, the relationships. Not enough description for me. I kept losing sight of the characters in my head. Inconsistent.

Nice, easy read that kept me interested, but nothing spectacular

I really enjoyed this series. It is not the best written book I have ever read but Amanda Hocking's style is just very easy to read and the books go very, very quickly and the characters are interesting and the story not totally predictable...even the romances are not predictable and I liked that. I wish that some of the details and the character developments had been more sussed out...more information, more time spent with the characters all would have been good...the whole series didn't even take me a week to read...without reading overly much...the quickness of the read was nice but honestly, I could have used a bit more to each book but especially the later two...Wendy developes from a pretty self centered kid to a queen pretty effortlessly and a little more of that transition would have been nice to see. Overall, fun, light, very YA-ish read.
