This was such a cosy read. The kind of book you just want to read wrapped in a blanket with a hot drink when it is raining outside. It was very easy reading. I enjoyed it despite it being an easy read. It just flowed nicely. Loveable characters. I do wish there was more to the story with the mysterious issues going on with the Café. That was a little anticlimactic. Other than that, it was a nice little read.

This is as advertised -- cozy, simple, fast fall hallmark vibes. When I started it, it was exactly what I needed, but by the time I was 75% through, I was so bored I just wanted it to end. Nothing remarkable about these characters or their love story (I guess that's part of the idea tho?) and nothing about this book will stick with me past probably me posting this review.

BUT if you are overloaded, overwhelmed, or burned out and need to bury your head in the sand for a bit, this could still be a decent pick for you!

The perfect example of this genre. Light, emotional, sensual, adorable. Rated high for it’s ability to fit the genre exceptionally well.
