The art of this book is fantastic!! It had so much potential tbh. But in the end it's about two friends who are assholes and treat each other like shit. If there was some sort of resolve at the end where they apologize to each other for being little fuck wads then maybe I would have given it more stars. Gave it two because of the fantastic minimalist illustration. Ultimately, I was super confused as to how this was a decent kids book? I'd never read it to my own kids.

This felt both boring and mean-spirited at the same time. Maybe elementary school-aged children would enjoy it, but I'm not going to get it for mine to read because I want to encourage kindness. I don't believe it's funny or kind to make someone really scared on purpose.

A silly story about friends playing tricks on each other. This would be a fun one for storytime and there are others in this "series" of picture books!
