This is the third book in the multi author series. I was so looking forward to this one. Young Kai wormed his way into my heart in the previous books. I was interested to getting into Shay's head. She the health nut, but she has experienced loss being a widow that has impacted the way she views life. I know how loss can do that because your life has changed so drastically. Oh my gosh Rowan is just so perfect for her. Their romance may start off a little forbidden, but there is no denying the true real connection between them. I loved Kai and Rowan together. It was so cool to see Kai bond with his hero. Another great thing to see is Shay finding her calm and feel safe once again to let her guard down. She has a lot of growth in this one. I loved seeing all the people in the brownstone. My only complaint if you want to call it that was I missed seeing the other kids more. Don't get me wrong they pop in and I loved every minute of it, but I miss being at the house more. There is also hilarity that ensues which we get in this one a few times. I really love the found family feeling. Family isn't always blood, but the people you choose. I can't wait for the next and final book in the series. Though I'm a little sad about it as well to know it's coming to an end. Trust me these four friends, their children, and the men they find are going to steal your heart.

I think it was unnecessarily sad. It came across as exaggerated at times. All it wanted was to make us feel sad for her and yeah, I empathize a lot with her situation and craziness haha but it was too much without any real reason. Don’t get me wrong, their love was beautiful!! I think Rowan is the definition of love and what she and her son needed. But their relationship was one sided, he felt real but her… not so much.

4.5⭐️  Absolutely loved everything about this book and audio! It's duet narration with Teddy Hamilton and Samantha Brentmoor and I love both of them as narrators!  Once again, I love all of our characters in the Momcom series and how they are always in the books!  What I loved most about this was how Rowan was so persistent with Shay and also just so sweet in understanding her feelings and her past.  I absolutely loved the chemistry between them and those steamy moments were perfection!
