I'd heard wonderful things about James Patterson, but for whatever reason, I'd never been compelled to read his stuff. This one left me pretty disappointed. I give it 3 stars because I enjoyed some things about it and read on to the end to see what happened. But his writing is mediocre at best. The timing was off, and many of the aspects of the story were just thrown in to try to tie it in a bow, but they didn't make sense. Meh.

The pace of the book lagged in certain parts but I really enjoyed this book! Some things were easy to put together after a certain point but then everything fell into place
