Ποιος να το περίμενε, αλλά στο τέλος, όντως πεθαίνουν και οι δύο!

Σε μια εποχή που υπάρχει το Δελτίο Θανάτου που καλεί τους πολίτες και τους ενημερώνει για τον επικείμενο θάνατό τους, οι άνθρωποι κάνουν ό,τι μπορούν για να κάνουν την τελευταία τους μέρα να μετράει.

Γεγονός που φυσικά έχει εκμεταλλευτεί ο καπιταλισμός, δημιουργώντας διάφορες υπηρεσίες για τους Μελλοθάνατους (ούτε να πεθάνεις με την ησυχία σου δεν μπορείς!)

Τέλος πάντων, τα 3⭐ μπαίνουν κυρίως γιατί όσο το διάβαζα σκεφτόμουν ποιους θα ήθελα να χαιρετήσω αν ήξερα ότι θα πεθάνω αν και κατέληξα ότι δεν υπάρχει λόγος να το ξέρεις, μπορείς να ζεις την κάθε μέρα σου όπως ακριβώς επιθυμείς χωρίς το άγχος ότι μπορεί να είναι η τελευταία...

Α ναι, και γιατί έχω soft spot στους αγνούς εφηβικούς έρωτες...

'They Both Die at the End' had been on my shelves for years and remained there, even after I moved and sorted through my books various times. Something about it just drew me in to read it. And now I have.

This was a multilayered, emotional, heartfelt, and just the right amount of fun for a book that delves deeply into mortality. It raises the question of how our world would change if we could predict the day of our death. While we all know we will die one day, what if we knew when? And that, no matter what we did, our death would happen? How do you spend this time?

This was a fast read but is one of those rare young adult novels that manages to sink beneath my skin.

A cute story about two teen boys who know they're dying that day and so they set out to have the best last day ever. It was a little cheesy, and YA,  and hit you over the head with the message like a sledgehammer but it was still enjoyable. Glad I picked it up.

This book wasn't for me got it off BookTok and was super excited but I didn't understand the hype about the plot/the ending was as expected!? Nearly DNF but I wanted to get to the end, still a good plot but probably just not for me.
