Just what I'd been looking for...A collection of personal essays about tattoos. Fascinating and in some cases very moving.

I liked the idea of mixing famous people's tattoo stories in with regular people's stories. I don't have a tattoo and don't foresee myself getting one any time soon, but it was interesting to read about.

While I enjoyed the book, and some stories were good enough to share, I read it in less than an hour and ultimately found it to be a little thin. I'm glad it was a library book. I adore Wendy McNaughton's style and her script. I loved Lost Cat. These illustrations took an age to complete, no doubt. The point of view varied enormously and the compositions were engaging. The concept is brilliant. And yet, I was still disappointed with how quickly it was over. Did I gulp without chewing? Swallow it whole? Perhaps in my eagerness to see what the next story would bring, I devoured it too quickly.
