This was good, but I didn't like it as much as other Amanda Lovelace books.

I thought this was ok. I have enjoyed Amanda Lovelace's collections in the past, but I found myself a little bored through this. It got to be a little repetitive, and I was kind of skimming through some of the poems.
However, I really loved the illustrations throughout the collection. I thought they were so pretty and adorable. They were simple but sweet. I loved how the author typically only used a few colors throughout.

some days even the idea of getting out of bed seems impossible to her, and she once thought every impossible thing was possible: enchanted furniture, talking animals, invisible friends come to life, breath-giving kisses, faeries and perhaps the most impossible thing of all, happiness. where did she go?
I really liked this one. It is about empowerment, feminism, being authentically you. It talks about self-care, anxiety, depression, feeling out of sorts, losing yourself to your mental illness and how that can be okay sometimes as long as we can get ourselves out of that place.
This wasn’t awful or anything, I just didn’t find myself loving most of it. There were definitely a few powerful poems, but I don’t think this series by Amanda is for me

Sister poems in this made me weep and recommend this to my little sister and probably I'll buy it for her as a gift
