Ok, ok. I dont know how I feel about this, maybe it was just because I was reading other things that I was enjoying more or because I just wasn't in the mood for this kind of story, but this was just, meh. I dont care for Alina, and my god I HATE Mal.
But I love Leigh Bardugos writing hence the 3 stars (more a 2.5 for the overall story), plus Nikolai is great!
Don't know if I'll read the next one.

I LOVE NIKOLAI, he reminds me of Thorne from TLC and I’m here for it!!
The first chapters were really good, the middle was eh, but the ending was really great!
I can understand why people don’t like the book, but I’m having such a fun time reading the trilogy :))
Also NO MAL SLANDER ACCEPTED, maybe it’s because i watched the show first and I LOVE ARCHIE, but yes Mal has his flaws, but he’s amazing nonetheless

For me, the start and end of this book were great, but the middle was quite uninteresting with a lot of relationship drama. That is not something that interests me in this series. However, the ending does make up for it; I couldn't put it down!
