The Story of Alina continues in a very interesting way. While reading you cannot know where exactly the story will go and how the events will affect the characters. The pacing was well done. It was really captivating to see Alina's character development and the growth she has made.

This book was great! It was fast paced in the beginning and then slowed down for a while which was what the story needed to grow our characters, but then the suspense started building and once it did it was worth the wait for me. Leaving this book, I can’t wait to read the next one!

oh my god.
the way the author set up this universe and plot is amazing because it looks into more than just villain vs hero. this book began to look into the politics of the grishaverse and i personally loved it.
not to mention the drama that was created between the couple we were all rooting for (i think) and the the new character (that i could not help falling in love with) was amazing.
i also love how it was written because i could not turn the pages fast enough in some parts.
as there always is in fantasy books, there was many parts that were just world building, but it all made sense!
i cannot wait to see how they do this book for the show!
