Disclaimer: I did listen to this very quickly on audio in order to get it back to the library on time so I did end up a little confused with timelines but overall I enjoyed it.
The idea of the cult thinking the future was preordained leading to those outcomes because people were trying to "outsmart" the predestination was interesting.
There were a lot of characters but the ending with the two sons of the serial killer basically tricking each other (Alan(?) swapped his son for his brother's so that he lived - and that son was Christopher).
It was a quick read and, while not my favorite from North, I don't think, it was certainly a good one.
And I finished over a week before writing this so...the review is brief lol

I wish it had an epilog to tie some things together, but I very much enjoyed this.

Anything less than 5⭐️ is just unacceptable. This book was INSANE
Too grim for me right now, also it is taking its time getting the plot going and I keep losing focus so I’m avoided reading it she it’s put me in a slump.
