No sé si me explico.

I wanted to like it. I really did. However, no matter how hard I tried, it just felt like someone imitating Stieg Larsson. I get it, though. It's not Larsson writing. Lagercrantz does an adequate job of picking up the feel of Larsson's characters, but much like the song "Fred Jones: Part 2" by Cake:

Fred gets his paints out and goes to the basement
Projecting some slides
Onto a plain white canvas
And traces it, fills in the spaces
He turns off the slides, and it doesn't look right
Yeah, and all of these bastards have taken his place
He's forgotten but not yet gone

Lagercrantz has effectively traced the characters and the style of Larsson, yet when you take it as a whole, it just doesn't live up to what Larsson created.

I would have been much happier had the Millennium series stayed a trilogy.

I really enjoyed this and as a continuum of the series I thought it held on to the style of the previous books very well. Current, topical and very readable. Others may not have enjoyed it as much but for me quite excellent

A thoroughly enjoyable book. A was concerned when the idea of this book was first said. However I have been proven wrong. The writing is top notch and the characters remain as interesting as before

This is a great book. I didn’t know what to think about this book given the change in authors but it was surprisingly good.
