Overview
If you're always searching for romance in your readings and often ship the most random beings who dare to breathe next to each other, but can't remember the last time you loved an actual romance book —that is, if you're a needy but picky bitch like me—, this may be the challenge for you.
I'm always excited to read some good romance, and I'm willing to suspend disbelief for a lot of things just to seesexy captivating characters getting their way and doing their thing. The problem is that some authors (lots of them) just don't seem to know what good characterization —and, therefore, good romance— is. But I'm determined to find the ones that do, or die trying.

RULES:
- This challenge is a treasure hunt; the treasure being true romance. It's not about finishing books, but finding the real ones. Therefore, you can only complete the 5 prompts with books you liked, preferably loved, so anything less than 3 stars is unacceptable because your goal should be 5.
- "And what does it happen if I don't like a book?" Give me a D.. Give me an N.. Give me an F.. DNF!!!!! You quit and pick the next one on the list. If by the end of the challenge there are still uncompleted prompts, you repeat a previous book read. (Of course you can finish every book you pick up, just not for this challenge).
- Only will fail who dnf everything. To avoid that, you have to embrace your kinks! Don't go for the most hyped books, but for those that seem to offer what you truly like. And if the story is still not clicking, it's because it wasn't written for you. As an experienced reader, you know, even if unconsciously, how the things you dislike in a book you've just picked up will probably only get worse. So don't force yourself, bc here you don't have to 🤗 Just choose wisely, dnf freely and celebrate each victory.
- The bonus prompts are for in case you count more victories than you expected.
- We're starting with contemporary romance. To make things easier, consider under this umbrella any story containing a strong romantic relationship and set in the present times that is not a romantic suspense or something of the sort. Or you can ignore the division and use this edition to find as many fave romances in general as you can.
