Burnout: The Secret to Unlocking the Stress Cycle by Amelia Nagoski, Emily Nagoski
5.0
I really enjoyed “Come As You Are” so when I saw this on my doctor office’s shelf, I had to grab it.
I think a lot of the criticisms I see on here are fair (telling us to rest and exercise isn’t helpful and it’s written fairly casually) but what I think this book does well that others don’t, is that it feels conversational and approachable. And you walk away feeling like you _can_ do this.
If you’re looking for an in-depth white paper, this isn’t the book for you. Maybe something from the appendix of sources might be more your jam.
As a toddler mom who works a fairly stressful job, I genuinely loved this book. I tore through it in 3 days and I will be recommending this to my friends!
