It took me a moment to recognise the spiral Gilda was going down, but the representations of her mental illness were simultaneously accurate and, in a way, hilarious. I didn’t really like how we were literally in her head though; she was annoying at times (not her fault) and I wished she would stop thinking so much sometimes (which, actually is a good example of what it’s like to be mentally ill among non-mentally ill people).
The ending was inspiring but it felt unaccounted for, like how did Gilda get from her depressive stupor into being high-functioning ?
