The One by Kiera Cass

I think the ending wrapped up really nice. Instead of the love triangle between America and Maxon and Aspen, it's now between her and Kriss. About time America understood how it felt to have to fight for someone instead of 2 men fighting FOR her.

The ending was really crazy, to be honest. I was a little confused at the disarray, but it wasn't too bad for me to knock it down a star.

I liked a bit of the drama towards the end when Maxon finally narrowed it down.

I was a bit confused on where a couple characters went. They showed up and disappeared pretty fast?

Other than that, the story was written nicely, albeit, some scenes felt like they were put in just to be put in? Like meeting Augusta. Maybe the author was trying to prove that war is ugly and hard, but it just felt like a needless scene since she was again telling instead of showing. I have come to expect it with her writing though, so i moved on since i liked the story itself.

Spoilers:

Maxon's love letters to America? I'd die of happiness if i ever received those! OMG.

I do not agree with how they easily forgave Celeste for being so mean? She put GLASS in someone's shoes. What the heck? I do like how they got along more, though.

Where did Paige and Kota go? We get one scene with them and that's it. Disposed of. LOL.

Eveyrone's favorite line was "Break my heart. Break it a thousand times if you like. It was only ever yours to break anyway.” ...Really? I mean i liked it a lot, but my favorite is actually...

"Without you, my life would still exist, but that's all it would manage to do" *swoon* I love a man who can't without me, ;)
