The stories were good and I think sometimes too smart for me. Sometimes I would pause after one ended to try and think about the themes and message if it was not explicitly clear to me while reading. The imagery was vivid and the way jungles, plants, and cityscapes were described was so sensory I felt like I could be there. I look forward to reading more works from this author.
