i don't usually read horror but i heard this had a bunch of queer rep so i decided to read it anyway. glad i did but beware the content warnings. i would recommend.

religious bigotry:

christian cult-group aims to kill everyone in the world who doesn't agree with their beliefs

••• vomit:

goes hand in hand with gore; there are many mentions of the mc and others literally puking up their guts/organs

••• gore:

lots of gore in this book; there is talk of bodies rotting, flesh falling off, organs falling out, broken bones sticking out, etc

••• death:

lots of talk of dead bodies everywhere, also there is a fair bit of murder which causes more death

••• injury/injury detail:

mainly the same as gore

••• transphobia/deadnaming:

there's a fair bit of misgendering in some parts of the book as well some deadnaming

••• fire/fire injury:

a building burns with people inside, some of whom die, and there is some discussion of blisters/burns caused by the fire.
