i loved this book. it's been a hot minute since i've read a book like this one.
the main thing i loved about this was the characters. we have jess, a single mom with a seven year old kid. she isn't wealthy, in fact she's kinda down on her luck. she's really pretty though >,<
no, but i loved jess. she went through A LOT in this book. and she came out better for it. she was truly such a remarkable person and one of my favourite christina lauren heriones. <3

river was a good one. i have discovered my new type in men and it's secretly shy, men who hide their shyness with asshole and hardened exterior.

NO BUT RIVER WAS SO SWEET, THERE WERE SO MANY MOMENTS WHERE I JUST STOPPED AND AWED!!!!!!!!! "my jessica" are u literally kidding??? him and juno??????? him caring for jess, loving jess, being so attracted to jess...
yes.

their tension was off the charts. i was on the edge of my seat the whole book.
i loved the plot in this one too. i kinda guessed the "twist" at the end and while i didn't love it, i think it was pretty realistic, especially the conflict. i liked how prominent it was that both characters were adults, with their own lives and agendas to cover...sometimes books don't emphasize that and it makes me mad!!

this book was so sweet and i loved it it was so cute five stars favourites shelf<3
