A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard

5.0

This is my yearly reread of this book. I read this book in March of this year. I really liked it then, and I really liked it now.
This book does talk heavily about sex. It’s also really descriptive in the 2 scenes.
In a way, this book was so relatable. I deal with anxiety myself, so it was really nice to read it in a book. I happen to pick this book up in one of my worst times with anxiety and it really helped me though it.
Rhy’s is such an amazing character. I feel like his story is so important. One thing I’d like to read, is a little more about his life before and his childhood more. I would also like to hear about his brother a little more.

I really loved Steffi. I feel like she kissed and tell way to much. Whenever she did it, she would tell Tem which I think she should keep some stuff more private.

Tem annoyed me a lot. I feel like she wanted to know everything about Seffi, but didn’t tell a lot of thing about herself to her.

This book was so beautiful and cute. The book doesn’t talk about the bad side of romance, like a lot of ya books. I would like a squeal to this book, but I know that’s never going to happen.

Ps this review took a whole day to write because I couldn’t put my feelings into words.
