Loved this duology, especially the second installment.
Elm and Ione have my heart 😭 loved how ferociously tender they were to one another, not compelled to make the other better, very much "i can make them worse" trope.
If you like obstinate and resolute characters that soften only for each other, allowing the other to eventually see behind the façade, you'll like their dynamic.
Feel as ifElspeth and the Nightmare were more the main characters than her and Ravyn by the end.
